Boje

Boje

Boje is a student peer-counseling service run by students of Social Work at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. Its aim is to create a safe and supportive space where students can seek help with personal, academic, or organizational challenges.

The service is open to all students of Merseburg University of Applied Sciences and is based on the principle of counseling on an equal footing. All consultations are confidential and follow the approach of systemic counseling, which views clients as experts of their own situations. Together, existing resources and possible solutions are identified and strengthened.

Currently, Boje offers online counseling as well as peer case consultations. In the future, the initiative plans to establish a permanent counseling space on campus, complemented by anonymous counseling via email, in order to further expand the service and keep it easily accessible.
